| Nachricht: | We stayed in Azur for a month and it was wonderful. WiFi worked perfectly and with skype we were able to work as though we were at home. Position is very central, you are right in the Old Town so didn’t need a car. Rhodes Town and Mandraki Harbour are nearby and all shop, markets, bars & restaurants are surrounding you. Everything needed is on your doorstep. Azur is a lovely house, neat, very clean & tidy with new fittings. Everything advertised was there & it all worked! It is brightly painted in strong, summery colours with good quality finishes . The house is fully equipped with everything you could need; we even had a bike, tea lights and lanterns. The garden furnishings are very stylish on the roof terrace which is discreet and private. The little garden is nice and secluded and a sun trap + a little BBQ for the evenings. Bathrooms are modern and nicely decorated. Kitchen is good, new (Ikea I think) although compact. Bedroom 1 upstairs opens onto the roof terrace and is lovely but the downstairs bedroom may be quite cramped for another couple. The house would suit a small family though. The main asset is Claudia who looks after everything. We had a terrific welcome pack with local produce and even a bottle of very good wine. Nothing was too much trouble and her knowledge of the area, facilities & customs was very much appreciated. She is the ‘greatest asset’ and her contributions added to our perfect stay.
